ECIA is a national united group of professionals that brings together practitioners from specialist and community sector organisations to influence policy decisions and service delivery opportunities to improve the lives of young children with a disability and their families.
ECIA national council with state/territory chapters advocate at all levels of government, for better access, participation and inclusion of children with disability and their families into their community.
The national council looks for opportunities to respond to position papers or productivity commission enquiries into current issues that affect the lives of young children with disability and their families. ECIA representatives lobby the various levels of governments - local, state and federal. The focus is on developing relationships with key stakeholders in order to promote and advocate for the rights and the needs of young children with disability and their families.
