Quarterly Data Report for period up to 31 March 2018

The latest quarterly data report provides significant insight into children age 0-6 and ECI service provision under the NDIS:

Children age 0-6 are now the second largest group of NDIS participants standing at 19,002 children with approved plans.

However, children age 0-6 are the smallest group of participants in terms of committed funds, coming in at approximately 3 per cent.

Children age 0-6 are now the second largest group of NDIS participants standing at 19,002 children with approved plans.

However, children age 0-6 are the smallest group of participants in terms of committed funds, coming in at approximately 3 per cent.

The distribution of package funding for children age 0-6 looks like:
- 22 per cent in the $5,000-10,000 band
- 38 per cent in the $10,000-15,000 band
- 17 per cent in the $15,000-20,000 band

Primary disability for children age 0-6 is:
- Autism - 65 per cent
- Developmental delay - 57 per cent
- Intellectual disability - 17 per cent
- Global developmental delay - 14 per cent
- Other sensory/speech - 11 per cent
- Cerebral palsy - 8 per cent
- Hearing impairment - 7 per cent
- Visual impairment - 2 per cent
