$65,000.00-$75,000.00 + super 9.5% + salary packaging

Windermere is looking for a registered Allied Health Practitioner to provide quality trans-disciplinary NDIS Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) Key Worker services to children with a disability or developmental delay and their families/carers.  

  • Part Time (22.8 hours per week)
  • Parental Leave Cover until 31 May 2019 
  • Southern Melbourne (Berwick, Cranbourne and Pakenham) 

As an independent community service organisation Windermere is working across south east Victoria to help those who need it most.  Windermere believes that everyone is someone in our community and that is reflected in their approach with those they work with every day. 

Primary responsibilities of this role include but will not be limited to: 

  • Provide discipline specific assessment and outcome focused intervention to children 0-18 years with a range of disabilities and their family. 
  • Provide service utilising the following service principles: 
    - Trans-disciplinary Key Worker model
    - Family Centred Practice 
    - Strengths Based Practice
    - Natural Environments 
    - Evidence based practice 
  • Provide Key worker support to families utilising the service principles.  
  • Ulitise a range of formal and informal assessment tools appropriate to the child and family.
  • Provide discipline specific, goal-orientated intervention. 
  • Assess and organise the prescription of assistive technology to enable children to develop maximum function.  
  • Liaise and/or refer to appropriate services. 
  • Assist in maintaining discipline specific information and resources. 

Mandatory Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree Qualification
  • Minimum 2 years discipline specific clinical experience with particular reference to paediatric practice  
  • Current Victorian Drivers'License 
  • National Police Check 
  • Current Working with Children card
  • Working rights in Australia
