Inclusion Agency Hub Manager - Sunshine Coast

KU receive Australian Government funding to operate Inclusion Support QLD, the state-wide Inclusion Agency as part of the Inclusion Support Programme in partnership with Cairns and District ChildCare Development Association.

This exciting opportunity for KU Children's Services has resulted in a vacancy available on a Full-Time contract basis until the end of June 2021 (due to current funding) within our Sunshine Coast Hub based in Birtinya for an early childhood trained teacher who has a passion for working in inclusion to join KU as an Inclusion Hub Manager. 

The Role

The Inclusion Hub Manager leads a team of Inclusion Professionals to support educators in Australian Government funded children’s services to increase their capacity and capability to embed inclusive practices within their service. They work to promote a clear understanding of inclusion which focuses on all children being seen as capable and contributing in their environment. The Inclusion Hub Manager will lead and manage the implementation of the  Inclusion Agency Practice Framework by Inclusion Professionals in their team, to ensure that support to services is designed to increase the capacity and capability of educators and builds on educator and service strengths.

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • a degree in Early Childhood/Primary Teaching qualification or equivalent
  • have at least 5 years’ experience leading diverse teams, excellent communication skills as well as demonstrated management skills
  • Queensland Blue Card
  • Applicants should have a thorough knowledge of inclusive practice and a clear understanding about inclusion in relation to all children.
