#ECIA2016 National Conference Update

The ECIA 12th Biennial National Conference, 'Choices that matter: ECI in a new era', generated much discussion and debate, along with some frustration and tears. What was clear though, for those who did not manage to attend #ECIA2016, is that there is still a long journey ahead for the ECI sector as they move towards successful implementation of the #NDIS. In his closing remarks, Dr. Norman Swan, Master of Ceremonies, proclaimed "...let's make it work". This final comment seemed to resonate; and as the auditorium emptied, discussions continued.
