Join us for the 8th Biennial National Early Childhood Intervention Australia Conference incorporating the First National Forum for the Inclusion and Professional Support Program.

Our theme: "Where's the Proof?" Evidence-based Practice and Practice-based Evidence

International Keynote Speakers: Professor Kofi Marfo (College of Education, University of South Florida), Dana Brynelson (Provincial Advisor of the Infant Development Programmes of British Columbia, Canada), Dr Virginia Buysse (Senior Scientist at the FPG Child Development Institute, and Associate Professor in the School of Education at The University of North Carolina), and Patricia Wesley (Senior Scientist at the FPG Child Development Institute at The University of North Carolina).

Pre-conference Workshops: 19th October, 2008

Main Conference: 20th - 21st October, 2008

The Call for Papers is now closed.

All proposals will be reviewed and presenters informed of the committee's decision by the end of May, 2008.

The theme Early childhood intervention: Who's landscape is it? is intended to reflect the diversity of family experiences, service delivery models, policy perspectives and inclusive practices within early childhood intervention. The focus of the Conference is on the benefits that the provision of inclusive, positive, community-oriented opportunities bring for children with additional needs and their families.
